Summary
Barotrauma servers are, by default, listed among all the other dedicated servers for the game. This public server list is a great way to meet new people and attract new and unknown players. Some users, however, may only want to play with a tight-knit group of people or friends. Fortunately, the server can be removed from the public list. Making a server private makes it so players can only join via direct connect, requiring a Server Password if one is set.
How to Make a Barotrauma Server Private
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Games panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Startup tab.
4. Navigate to the Public Server section.
5. Change the value to False .
6. Start the server. Players will now have to join through Direct Connect.
